Rare US genetics

Saintly is a stunning full accoyo solid white male and allows Southern Alpacas Stud to offer, for the first time to NZ, the genetics of Accoyo Royal Fawn.

Pedigree: Saintly's sire — Accoyo Royal Fawn — was the top fawn male selection in the 1995 Peruvian All Star's import from Peru to USA. Saintly came to Australia in utero with his dam, ILR Ppperuvian Lupin, who consistently produces show winners. (see also Irraquoy).

Royal Fawn has been an extremely successful male for Stachowski Alpacas on the US show circuit, as have his progeny.

Saintly was born 16/12/1997 and his sixth shear fleece got second at the Auckland Easter Royal Show in the third fleece and over class, behind NZ Southern Gemini, a daughter of the famous Pluro.

Saintly won Sire's Progeny at the two Royal Shows in 2006 -
Auckland Easter Royal Show 2006 and  Canterbury Royal Show 2006.

Progeny:

Saintly has over 130 progeny on the ground in Australia and New Zealand and he displays a propensity to throw to the dam’s colour, leaving dense and fine offspring. Saintly has had whites, some fawns in all shades, and dark brown and a few grey and a few black cria.
