Equinox is a white Moon Shine son, who on many occasions at shows has vied with his half brother Tucson Gold, who has been very successful at shows.

 Pedigree: Sired by Benleigh Moon Shine, bringing Purrumbete Inti, and Purrumbete Ledger's Dream genetics. Moon Shine is one of the most successful sires in NZ with 230 registered descendants who have won 149 show ribbons, including 16 Championships and 3 Supremes, as animals and for their fleeces.

His dam, Pucara Solstice, shears 23 micron at 3rd
shear, and brings the rare genetics of ILR Pperuvian Pluro. Pluro was 25 micron at 10 years old with deep bold crimp.

On many occasions he has been 2nd behind his half brother Tucson Gold, who has been very successful at shows.

At the Royal Show 2004 both boys were second in their senior classes.
