Black Adder is sired by ILR Alpine Fiber’s Brutus. Black Adder has fineness and lack of guard hair, like his sire.

Unlike many black males, he displays no white fibre colour contamination.

Black Adder is sired by ILR Alpine Fiber’s Brutus, NZ’s top stud male, who needs no introduction to breeders of lighter colours. His black progeny are rare, and this one deserves stud status in his own right.

Black Adder’s dam is NZ Southern Black Mamba who herself is from Samarkand Black Adder - a top Australian venerable ancestor. 
 

Fleece:  The fleece style is a high frequency crimp with reasonable amplitude.

First shear 17.1u, and 100% CF. A very soft handling fleece and even colour.

Progeny: Black Adder's progeny are dark coloured and mainly black.
